Rickie Wears Tape

If you keep up with Rickie Fowler, you know he’s had quite the golf career journey, from Oklahoma State University standout to PGA Tour journeyman. Honestly, if you keep up with golf, period, you keep up with Rickie Fowler.

Outside of having huge endorsement deals with Cobra, TaylorMade, and Puma, he’s had some strong wins in the past few years. He has 13 top-10 finishes in Majors including a 5th place at the 2017 U.S. Open, 2nd at the 2018 Masters and he brought home his latest win at the Rocket Mortgage Classic in 2023. (And no doubt there will be more wins now that he’s reunited with Butch Harmon to work on his swing.) All in all, you can’t really mention Rickie without talking about his talent, his love for Oklahoma orange, and the work he puts into his game.

Fun fact: If you check out his hands, not only will you see his grip, but you’ll see what he wears on his fingers to prevent blisters, hot spots and calluses. Is it BirdieWrap? Not yet. 🙃 He wears what a lot of the pros wear—generic medical tape instead of golf sports tape.
